Irwin E. Brown Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Irwin E. Brown in Melbourne, Florida. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Irwin had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Irwin may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephraim Brown and Adeline Johnson Brown; and his brother E. Bruce Brown. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Jean Brown; his daughter Carole J. Brown; his son-in-law Donald K. Piragoff; and his nephew Bruce M. Brown.
Prior to the arrival of the pandemic in 2020, he also played cards in a bridge club and, in 2018-2019, was fit enough to travel with his daughter, Carole, and son-in-law, Donald, to the Bahamas, to France to visit the Normandy Beaches where he landed in the summer of 1944, and to the island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Student Scholarship Fund, c/o the Camden United Methodist Church, which Irwin and Marjorie Brown were instrumental in founding.
