She was predeceased by: her parents, John Doud and Helen Doud (Novak); her husband Raymond H. Highsmith; and her siblings, Thomas Doud (Reba) and Elaine Smith (Alfred).

She is survived by: her daughters, Laurie Sandberg, Debi Kenney (Bob) and Ann Highsmith; and her sister Dolores Ledtke (Jim). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
