He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Taylor Apfelthaler and William J. Apfelthaler; and his wife Patrocenia Apfelthaler (Pat). He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Apfelthaler Albright and William L. Apfelthaler; his children, John P. Apfelthaler (Sonja) and Patricia Apfelthaler Hanson (Eric); and his grandsons, Paul Tyler Apfelthaler and Adam Gregory Apfelthaler. He is also survived by several cousins and many nieces.
