She was predeceased by: her parents, George Draves and Viola Draves of Highland, WI; her husband Richard Welsh of Highland, WI.; her siblings, Geneva Machotka (Johnnie), Eunice Nankey (Darrel) and John Draves; and her siblings-in-law, Clark Forbes, Wilbur, Walter, Stanley, Glen (Eileen), Keith (Betty), Earl Welsh (Donna) and Kathleen Paxton.
She is survived by: her children, Kaye Whitson, Kim Welsh (Gina), Kristi Jensen (Paul), Kara DeGanna and Kendall Welsh (Kathy); her grandchildren, Jennifer Parkerson (Tyler), Phillip Welsh (Marja), Julie Roslin, Karlee Bridges (Shelby), Garrett Whitson (Khristen), Tiffini Schwenn (Doug), Nicole Ripp (Josh), Tierney Anderson (Luke), Joshua DeGanna (Sara), Chandler Welsh, Carter Welsh and Cooper Welsh; her siblings, James Draves (Sandra), Vivian Forbes and Marie Roberts (Richard); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Draves, Ruth Beckius (Arnold) and Marilyn Welsh. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Chapel of Melbourne.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
