With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patsy Shannon of Melbourne, Florida, born in Clay, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2026 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her husband Chief Petty Officer Gordan Shannon; her son Technical Sergeant Bobby Miller of Melbourne, FL; and her parents, Ralph Asbury (Helen) of Birch River, WV and Reva Asbury Snodgrass (Frank) of Clover, WV.. She is survived by: her children, Allan Miller (Gina) of Clover, WV and Missy Miller of Port St; her grandchildren, Ryan (Megan) of Spencer, WV, Brian Miller of Spencer, WV and Amber Ashley (Robert) of Reedy, WV; her siblings, Peggy Asbury Kelly (Joe Urich) and Ed Asbury (Tammie) of Melbourne, FL; her uncle Jerry Nelson (Verneda) of Clay, WV; and her aunt Nancy Lamby (Roger) of Elkins, NC. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; fifteen nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
