He is survived by: his parents, George Franzen and Cecelia Franzen of Melbourne, Florida; his children, Peter John Franzen Jr. of Melbourne, Florida, Erin Elizabeth Torres (Belen) of Melbourne, Florida and Daniel James Franzen (Michelle) of Melbourne, Florida; his grandchildren, Ashton Daniel, Gavin Louis Franzen and Matias Noel Torres; and his siblings, Ellen Franzen Kresmery of Melbourne, Florida, Michael (Dawn) of Fairfield, Connecticut, Stephen (Kim) of Denver, Colorado, Mark of Stratford, Connecticut and James (Jayme) of Cocoa, Florida.. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, three aunts, and 26 first cousins.
A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (5655 Stadium Pkwy, Melbourne, FL 32940).
