He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Franklin Ruth and Dovie Ruth (Gray); his wife Peggy (Stephens); his son Eddie; and his siblings, Charlie George, Jim, Eualdene and Norine (CooCoo).
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Garza (Juan) of Mesa, Arizona, Brenda Smith (Mark) of Dubach and Kathy Parsons (Curtis) of Melbourne, Florida. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
