She is survived by: her father Russell Ahner; her husband Jeffrey Justice (JJ); her children, Samantha Gaddis (Shane), Tyler Justice and Courtney Justice-Briginshaw (Timothy); her granddaughter Macie Gaddis; and her siblings, Russel Ahner III (Beate) and Joanne Paschall (Benny). She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and a large extended family.
She served on the School Advisory Committee and was selected as a member of the East Set Committee, an initiative supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she helped advocate for effective teaching practices.
