He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Lee and Lillian Florence Simerl (Stone); his siblings, Merrill Sides and Larry Simerl; his parents-in-law, Leslie and Anna Faye Garrison; his brother-in-law Don Sides; and his great grandchildren, Gavyn Simerl and Oaklynn Shinkle.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Garrison; his sons, Mike and Scott; his grandchildren, Dyllyn Simerl, Jordan Shinkle (Kyle), Ashtyn Simerl and Reagyn Simerl; his great grandchildren, Braxtyn, Monti, Kyzer, Knozz and Montana Shinkle; his sister Carol Scurlock (Don); and his sisters-in-law, Sherry Simerl, Daisy Murphy and Kay Garrison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
