He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Hood (Richard) of Melbourne, Jean Booton (Charley) of Navarre, Florida and Sandra Shores (Steve) of Melbourne; his granddaughters, Stephanie Stehman of Melbourne and Samantha Knox (Nathan) of Rockledge; his great grandchildren, Tobias of Melbourne and Emma of Rockledge; and his brother John Whelan (Barb) of Chicago.
Memorial donations may be made to VITAS (Hospice) Healthcare and Joe's Club of Melbourne, who cared for Tom with compassion, respect and dignity; and the Alzheimer's Association, to continue its research to find the causes and develop a cure.
