He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis Doyle and Warren Chestnutt. He is survived by: his siblings, Donald Chestnutt (Beverly) of Clarksville and Rebecca Chestnutt-Niess (Bob) of Berlin; and his children, Christopher Chestnutt of Arlington, VA, Daniel Chestnutt-Lemus (Karen) of Charles Town, WV and Tamara Chestnutt-DiAmore (Mike) of Manassas, VA..
