It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Pauline Davis of Melrose, Florida, born in Gainesville, Florida, who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Orlando H. Sheppard and Bessie Sheppard (Thomas); her husband John H. Davis; and her children, Lewis Emanuel (Bennett), Marion "Marlene" Bennett, Freddie Davis (LuAnn) of Melrose, Olivia Carter of Jacksonville, Jimmie Davis (Sonia) of Melrose and Huey "Peanut" Davis (Rhonda) of Middleburg.
