He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gensel and Martha Gensel (Cummings); and his daughter Cathy Maynard. He is survived by: his wife Mary Gensel; and his daughters, Nancy Rivers, Anna Buchanan and Linda Sedlacek. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
