He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon L. Schwab and Margaret M. Schwab (Frankenfield); and his brothers, Gordon E. Schwab II and Gary V. Schwab. He is survived by: his sons, Gerald Schwab Jr. (Beth) of Bloomville and Cory Schwab (Christy) of Bloomville; and his grandchildren, Cory Schwab Jr., Cierra Schwab, Dylan Schwab, Caleb Schwab, Sarah Ferguson and Jackie Lucius. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
