He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Tansey and Patricia Tansey. He is survived by: his brother Jerry Tansey (Sammie) of Des Moines, Iowa; his sibling's children, Aubrey Tansey and Oliver Tansey of Des Moines, Iowa; his half-sister Lisa Walsh-Kerns of Burlington; and his goddaughter Peyton. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and several cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lunning Funeral Chapel (2620 Mt Pleasant St, Burlington, IA 52601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
