He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Frances Whiteman and Robert A. Whiteman. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Whiteman; his daughters, Meredith Ross (Arlen) and Kathryn Reiman; his grandchildren, Lily, Ruby, Jonah and Ellinor; his siblings, Kimberly Grayson (Tom) and Glen Whiteman (Didi); his siblings-in-law, Jeffrey, Charmelle Gambill, Lori, Scott Kehrer and Bruce Gambill; and his nieces and nephews, Jacqueline (Pete), Piper, James Tulley, Kyle Kehrer, Haley, Alex Whiteman, Kristina (Josh), Jamie Johnson and Mary Anne Flores (Rafa).
Memorial contributions may be made to the University of Miami Rosenstiel School's Rescue a Reef program, supporting the conservation and restoration of South Florida's coral reef populations.
