It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carlos Poveda Jr. (Miami, Florida), who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos M. Poveda and Antonia Aguilar (Piquín); and his brothers, Alberto "Tiqui" Poveda and Jorge Poveda. He is survived by: his significant other Dory; his sons, Carlos M. Poveda III and Eduardo E. Poveda (Dalila Poveda); his grandchildren, Carlos M. IV (Jennifer Poveda), Andres "Andy" (Haley Poveda), Alexis, Andrea and Eduardo S.; and his great grandchildren, Eva Grace, Alan and Carlos M. V.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Caballero Rivero Funeral Home (8200 Bird Rd, Miami, FL 33155). A committal service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery (11411 NW 25th St, Doral, FL 33172).
