She was predeceased by: her husband Ismael Sklawer (Mel); her nephew Mark Mitnick; her siblings-in-law, Max and Julia Sklaver; and her parents, Menachem Luski and Hanna Luski.

She is survived by: her children, Lenny Sklawer (Karen) and Miriam Shir (Dan); her grandchildren, Jeremy Shir (Rony), Allie Kapelushnik (Lonny), Joey Shir, Mitch Sklawer (Marisa), Andy Sklawer (Jodi), Sam Sklawer and Josh Mandel (Stacey); her sister Bertica; her brother-in-law Jules Mitnick; and her nephew Jeff Mitnick (Jo). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
