He was predeceased by : his parents, Sara Benabib and Jaque Benabib; his former life partner Elyssa Benabib; his brother Raphael Benabib; and his daughter Lee Coggins (Bill).

He is survived by : his wife Patricia Ledbetter; his children, Roberto Benabib (Samantha), Michael Benabib, Kim Benabib, Toni Roth (Karl), Wayne Ledbetter (Rochelle) and Toby Hanna (Tim); his nieces, Sara Kanarek (Enrique) and Nury Sutton (Solomon); and his nephew Jack Benabib. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous great nieces and nephews.
