With sadness, we share the passing of Gilbert Glass in Miami, Florida. Gilbert, born on May 3, 1949 in Newark, New Jersey, passed away on August 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Wendy Glass; his parents, Bernard Glass and Sylvia Glass; and his brother Howard Glass. He is survived by: his wife Cheri Glass; his children, Dustin Glass (Jaclyn Glass) and Shelby VanGlass (Daniel VanNederynen); his stepchildren, Brock Goldberg (Alyssa Goldberg) and Sami Joh Goldberg (Justin Wiseman); and his grandchildren, Wyatt Glass, Madison Glass, Brody VanNederynen and Eliza VanNederynen.
A funeral service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Menorah Chapels (2950 Vauxhall Rd, Vauxhall, NJ 07088).
