He is survived by: his pet Zelda; his wife Anne Hagins of Columbus, GA; his daughters, Elizabeth Kittrell (Skip Johnson) of Malibu, CA and Pamela Kittrell of Miami, FL; and his sister Barbara McGhinnis of Oxford, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
