He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Ramon Cuervo and Hilda Oliva of Cuervo. He is survived by: his wife Cristina Deschapelles Cuervo; his sister Hilda Cuervo Pantin; his children, Jose R. Cuervo, Carlos R. Cuervo and Christina M. Cuervo; and his granddaughters, Alexandra Arellano Cuervo, Dr. Isabela Arellano Cuervo, Catalina Arellano Cuervo and Cristina Daniela Cuervo. He is also survived by friends and family, as well as his children and grandchildren.
