Thompson of Miami, Anita Thompson, Theresa Thompson of Miami, Janet Sherman (Rory Sherman) of Atlanta, Georgia, Elaine Thompson of Atlanta and Pam Smith of Miami; his aunt Myrtle Wynn of Lawton, Oklahoma; and his daughter Rozenia Castelow of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
