It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leela Cruz (Miami, Florida), who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leela Cruz to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Radhica Madoo and Lutchman Madoo of Trinidad; her sibling Basanty Geeban (Emlyn); her sister-in-law Gloria; and her nephew Matthew Dolsingh.

She is survived by: her husband Nelson Xavier Cruz; her children, Rajeev (Teresa), Ravi (Peta) and Roma (Reinier); her grandchildren, Isabella, Nelson Jr., Michael, Dominic, Cristian and Luna; her siblings, Krishna, Sharma Madoo, Cushela Gosein (Denase), Bharat Madoo, Chandra, Anganie Chatlani (Chandru) and Radica Dolsingh (Michael); her siblings-in-law, Felix Cruz, Anita Romero, Hilda Cruz, Bedelia Cruz, Nivia Casas, Victorina Cruz and Linda Madoo; and her nieces and nephews, Vidya, Mitra, Indira Geeban, Sally Lakhan, Debbie Harripersad, Bindra Madoo, Kishore, Asha Gosein, Anjalie Rampersad, Avita Sooknanan, Aneeta Villani, Anjana Chatlani and Leandra. She is also survived by her siblings and nieces and nephews.
