He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dennis Brown Sr. and Lucille Campbell Brown; his former wife Carolyn Bowdie Brown; his grandparents, Abe, Mattie Bell Campbell, Stephen and Maggie Brown; and his siblings, Marvin Souppeman Brown, Robert Scooby Doo and Debra Brown Bradwell.
He is survived by: his wife Gedele Brown; his daughter Sade Brown; his siblings, Joseph (Josephine Brown), Leon Brown Brown (Kimberly), Mary Farrell of Midway, GA, Pamela Brown of Midway, GA, Rochelle Adams of Midway, GA and Rosa Milton of Jesup, GA.; his aunt Catherine Shuman of Riceboro, GA; and his uncle Wille Moten of Riceboro, GA.
