She is survived by: her sons, Craig and Brian Powell; her grandson Kael; her nephew Kevin; and her sister Hortense. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Caballero Rivero Southern Funeral Home (15011 W Dixie Hwy, North Miami, FL 33181). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Caballero Rivero Southern Memorial Park (15000 W Dixie Hwy, North Miami, FL 33181).
