He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Hobbs and Catherine Hobbs (Hohnhorst); his wife Linda Faye Hobbs (Friend); his son-in-law Anthony Burkett; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Margaret Friend (Lucas).
He is survived by: his children, Tamara Burkett, Jeffrey Hobbs (Leslie) and Christopher Hobbs (Joy); his grandchildren, Ashley Hobbs, Taylor Burkett, Alexandria Hobbs, Andrew Hobbs (Eriahna), Catherine Burkett and Jacob Hobbs; his great grandchild Joseph Burkett; his siblings, Ted Hobbs and Patricia Hobbs; and his sister-in-law Roberta Ann Eagle (Kenneth). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Ron's honor.
