She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gebert and Violet Gebert (Coulter); and her siblings, John Joseph Gebert, George Francis Gebert, Jr., Ulrich Aloysius Gebert, Henry Drayton Gebert, Richard Kenneth Gebert, Mary Gebert Ciuchta and Violet Gebert Anderson.

She is survived by: her husband James Hilton Cavanaugh; her daughter Diane Cavanaugh Bennetheun (Theodore Alan); her grandchildren, Jacob Alan Bennetheun (Jessica Elizabeth Pittman), Wesley Oliver Bennetheun (Jessi) and Heather Benntheun-Hession (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Aiden Alan Benntheun, Sharra Nicole Bennetheun, Violet Olivia Bennetheun, Flora Renée Hession and Kennedy Elizabeth Michel. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
