He is survived by: his wife Sherry Gifford; his sister Gloria McAnallen (Kenneth); and his children, Carla Rhodes, Todd Barger (Michelle), Richard McConnell (Melinda), Trisha Sofield (Jeremy) and Jerry McConnell Jr.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
