Janet Elaine Branch-Pygott Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2025, Janet Elaine Branch-Pygott of Middleburg, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Wilson and Helen Wilson; her son Curtis Ross Mathews; and her brother Ronald Hurst. She is survived by: her husband Robert Pygott Jr.; her children, Cheryl Harris, Kevin Mathews (Karen), Michelle Motes and Alex Pygott (Mae); her stepchildren, Bob Pygott, Michael Pygott (Michelle), Dianna Dubois (Dave) and Lena Grimes (Rusty); and her siblings, Dick Wilson (Pat) and Dianne Sandefur. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the South Middleburg Baptist Church (4565 Alligator Blvd, Middleburg, FL 32068). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Everygreen Cemetery (4535 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32206).
