He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Tarantino and Anthony Raposa Sr.; and his brothers, Anthony Raposa Jr. and Robert Raposa. He is survived by: his wife Maria E. Raposa; his daughters, Stacey A. Gay (Bill Gay) and Vickie Raposa; his grandchildren, Nicole M. Gay, Ryan P. Petrelis and Stephanie M. Petrelis; and his brother David M. Raposa. He is also survived by 9 Nieces and Nephew, 10 Great Nieces and Nephews, and 9 Great, Great Nieces and Nephews.

Richard's wishes were that in lieu of sending flowers, please donate to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
