She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Bruner and Idell Bruner; her husband Robert Covington; and her granddaughter Caylee Covington. She is survived by: her children, Tim Covington (Sonja), Anna Oliphant (Robert) and Yvonne Palomo (Rolando); her grandchildren, Tim Lyons, Hannah Palomo, Kyle Oliphant, Stephen Oliphant (Kendra) and Kele Covington; her great grandchildren, Mikayla and Tiernan Lyons; and her brother Bennie Bruner. She is also survived by many nieces, nephew, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes for donations in Shirley's memory be made to a cancer research organization or humane society of your choice.
