The memory of Betty L Broom of Milton, Florida, who passed away on August 13, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mont Bunyan Byers and Mattie Moore Byers Quinn; her husband Burt Allan Broom; her sons, Michael "Al" and Wayne; her siblings, Gladys Byers Andrews, Judy Quinn Arrowood, Gloria Miller, Wayne Byers, Arthur Daniel Byers and James Curtis Quinn; and her grandson Kyle Alden Lowrey.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Broom (Gerald C. Lowrey) of Milton, Florida; her grandsons, David C. Lowrey (Elizabeth Barnett-Lowrey) of Pensacola, Westley A. Broom (Alexis Green) of Sylva and David "Andrew" Justice of Forest City; her brothers, William Ray "Jerry" Quinn (Karen) of Hendersonville and Joseph Cordell Quinn (Francis) of Flat Rock; her great grandchildren, Adrian of Sylva, Wayde of Sylva and Dakota of Sylva; and her daughter Penny Y. McCall (Keith) of Pace, Florida. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and members of her son-in-law.
