She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Melvin; her husband Cecil Harvey Kingry, Sr.; her children, Jamie Lee Hall and Phyllis Kingry; her sister Anne; and her brother-in-law Pat Losee.

She is survived by: her daughter Doris. She is also survived by four sons, three daughters-in-law, a daughter and son-in-law, a brother and sister-in-law, thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many beloved cousins, nephews and nieces and special, long-time friends.

Along the way, she found time to volunteer for the American Red Cross, serving as Executive Director, and was active in Phi Delta Kappa, the Retired Teachers Association, the West Florida Literary Federation, UWF Leisure Learning Society, RSVP, and many others.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Emerald Coast Hospice in Milton.
