She was predeceased by: her son Robert W. Hicks Jr.; and her grandson Matthew David Chadwell. She is survived by: her husband Robert W. Hicks Sr. of Holt; and her daughters, Martha Carroll-Holt, Darlene Brown-Holt, Jenny Miller- of North Carolina and Pamela Hicks- of Virginia. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
