He was predeceased by: his wife Nikki Hagler (Findley); and his son Chance Hagler. He is survived by: his sons, Owen Hagler and Noah Hagler; his parents, Gary Hagler and Bobbie Hagler (Gillis); and his sisters, Keristen Wright (Eddie) and Lori Simmons (Mike). He is also survived by other friends and relatives.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the "G. Wayne Hagler II Scholarship Fund".
