He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Sue Gibson; his parents, Dick Gibson and Claudia Gibson; and his siblings, Alfred, Bobbie, Mike, Jerry Gibson and Phyllis.
He is survived by: his children, Ray Gibson, Steve Gregory (Nan), Angela House, Shane Gibson and Huck Gibson (Mallory); his siblings, Richard Gibson (Donna), Ottis Gibson (Sheila), Debbie Beach, Zadah Edmond, Raymond Gibson and Rita Gibson; and his grandchildren, Steven, Curtis, Sean, Dominic, Alex, Gunnar, Anthony, Austin, Wesley, Hunter and Cody. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.
