“I was so sad to hear of Joe Tom’s passing. I remember him as a jovial, quick witted, handsome man when I would occasionally see him in Kinston at Uncle Joe and Aunt Ann’s house. A few years ago I ran into him in Kinston and we spoke of family history and our mutual Nobles ancestors. He so kindly then sent me an old family photo with identities of all members whom I would never have known. I’ve always loved having y’all as relatives and thought it so special to be “double” cousins. Much love.”
