He is survived by: his wife Debra Branham Player; his children, Casey Spencer (Sean), Jessica Martinez (Zach) and John Player, IV (Kailyn); his grandchildren, Riley, Avery Spencer, Chris, Hannah, Penny, Manny and Eleanor Rose Martinez; and his sisters, Jan Grant (Bill), Mary Murphy (Mike) and Patty Nordyke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
