With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laurence Edward Thompson Jr. of Milton, Florida, born in Keene, New Hampshire, who passed away on June 17, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Thompson, Sr. and Shirley Johnson; and his sisters, Wanda Toth and Debbie Wilton. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Thompson of Milton, FL; his children, Tammy Howard of Milton, FL, Jennifer Tingman of Mooresville, NC and Christopher Thompson of Daphne, AL; his grandchildren, Bryton, Blaine and Brynlie Jo Thompson; and his in-laws, Margie Cannon and Sonja Robey of Milton, FL.. He is also survived by three brothers and five sisters.
Also, to Dr. Travis Larson and NP Devonn Bourg since we returned to Milton and Dr. Stephanie Elkins, Mooresville, NC as well as Dr. Reza Bolouri and his staff at the Alzheimer's Research Center in Matthews, NC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to a local animal rescue as he dearly loved all his dogs and cats which he rescued over the years.
