He was predeceased by: his daughter Robin Vann; and his parents, Marshall Stubblefield and Louise Schmitt Stubblefield. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Jean "Jeannie" Jerome; his children, Curtis Helmer of Houston, TX, Deborah Helmer (Jean Keeler), Richard (Dianne Stubblefield), Linda Wall (Kelli) of Pasadena, TX and Ric Bogue of Liverpool, TX; and his sister Sue Titus of Hernando, MS. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
