He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. Taves and Pansy Chapelow Taves; and his siblings, Debbie Dissmore and Gene Taves. He is survived by: his wife Carla; his siblings, Dorcas Maris, Darlene Krien and Harry Taves; his children, Les Taves (Vicki), Todd Taves (Lynn), Terry Taves (Lynn) and Jana (Lance); and his stepchildren, Anthony, Matt, Ray, Lisa and Marian. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
