Nancy Jo Opiela Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Jo Opiela (Milton, Florida), who passed away on April 14, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Leasck of West Frankfort, Illinois.; her former husband Terry J. Lockman of West Frankfort, Illinois.; her father Joseph A. Leasck; her brother Nick Leasck; and her niece Angela Walton.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Opiela; her children, Bambi Lockman (Kathy Devlin), Steve Lockman (Jan) and Jacquie Kane (Michael); her grandchildren, Christopher Kane, Annie Wiggins, Everett Lockman, Robert Kane (Abigail), Raeann Fortin (Troy), Steven Kane and Madison Lockman (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Amelia Kane and Maebh Lockman; her sister Toni Walton (Buddy); and her nieces, Maria Jones (Aaron) and Melinda Kline (Larry). She is also survived by children that she welcomed into her heart and a family of dedicated co-workers, church family and friends.
