He was predeceased by: his parent Vernie Lee Pridgen (Pate); his wife Jewel; his grandmother Jewel (Cox); his parent W. O. Lee; and his sister Peggy Giddens.
He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Hathaway; his daughters, Paula Peacock (Lee Roy, Jr.) and Tammy Blackwell (Wayne); his stepson Terry Griffith (Jennifer); his siblings, Queet Hertwick, Doug Pridgen (Walene), Margaret Rotenberry (Chuck), Phil Pridgen (Lisa) and Debby Creel; his grandchildren, Tasha Driscoll (John) and Lee Peacock, III (Martha); his stepgrandchildren, Bretta and Daniel Griffith; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Gracie, Gabby, Nevan and Isabella; his great great grandchild Amias Dean; his brother-in-law David R Giddens; and his former wife Shirley Pridgen. He is also survived by his family, friends, and longtime neighbors.
