Sharon Girven Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Girven of Milton, Florida, who passed away on May 19, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald "Bucky" Girven Jr.; her parents, Avis "Kitty" Hancock and Richard Hancock; her siblings, James, Rick Hancock, Terry Steyaert and Wendy Schawnberg; and her brother-in-law Robert Cofran.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Connell (Deborah Weyant) and Tammy Connell; her siblings, Nancy Cofran and Jeff Steyaert (Lisa Silbernagel); and her grandchildren, Gregory Lawson (Julie), Krysten Pietrantonio (Kyle Tambe), Jacob Connell (Samantha Cates), Zachary Connell (Jordan Postema), Tim Raymer, Timothy Berry, Tiffany Giffin, Michael Weyant (Cooper Shreeves) and Alesha Bradigan (Ross).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Byron Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name at the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
