She was predeceased by: her parents, Allison Dempsey Gilbert and Kathryn Suwannee Gilbert (Smith); and her brother Butch Gilbert. She is survived by: her children, Clete Alford (Katie Clark) and Brittney Fanugao (David); her grandchildren, Laney (Brandon), Berkley, Kingsley Fanugao and Carl Alford; and her siblings, Barbara Broxson, Larry (Rhonda) and Johnny Gilbert.
