He was predeceased by: his parents, John Szwec and Stella Szwec; and his grandson Rayce Szwec. He is survived by: his children, John R. Szwec (Titania), Stephen E. Szwec Jr. (Teresa), Suzanne A. VanderWiele (Greg) and Brian P. Szwec (Tracy). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and other extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Stephen's honor to Berryhill Assisted Living or People's Hospice, in gratitude for the care and compassion they provided him during the final chapter of his life.
