It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George William Pollock Jr. (Mims, Florida), born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 17, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Michael Alexander Pollock; his parents, George Pollock and Marion Pollock; his sisters, Karen Branscombe and Diane Elaine Pollock; his niece Sandra Branscombe Peterson; and his nephew Brian Verge.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Frenette (William) of Amherst, NH, George Pollock (Marilyn) of Apopka, FL, Sharon Ostrowski (Gene) of Casselberry, FL and David Matthew Pollock (Talaysia) of Apopka, FL.; his grandchildren, Daniel, Douglas, George, Geoffrey, Greggory, Melissa, Joel, Marion, Marjorie, Lillian, Cole and Solomon; his great grandchildren, Logan, Angela, Raine, Xander, Brooklyn, Liam, Eli, Joshua, Gabriel, Malakai, Kingston, Hailey, Vincent and Amari; and his wife Marion Emily Pollock. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A committal service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to his favorite charities: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) or the St. Labre Indian School (stlabre.org).
