He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Loyd and Eva Loyd. He is survived by: his wife Irine Loyd; his children, Louis Loyd, Jr. (Amy) of Mims, Apostle Andrew Loyd (Mary) of Mims, Wonder Loyd of Mims, Elgin Loyd of Mims and Antonio Loyd (Tikara) of Mims; his sister Christine Rozier; his godson Apostle Curtis Watkins; and his cousin Fannie Mae Johnson. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
