He is survived by : his wife Kusawatie Samaroo Maystry; and his siblings, Abboy (Ivan), Goinda (Rayo), Hemant, Chandai Ramdas (Droney) and Deowattie Bhowanlal (Lalita). He is also survived by his children; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
